ABSTRACT

Abstract@#Adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) not only affect individual s physical and mental health but also have adverse intergenerational effects. A growing body of researches focused on biological mechanism of ACEs, among which the emerging role of telomere has gained much attention. This article reviews the association between ACEs and telomere morphology during different developmental stages and the role of telomere in adverse health effects of ACEs. It aims to summarize possible mechanisms underlying negative effects of ACEs.

Objective@#To assess the risk of public health emergencies in Zhejiang Province, March 2021. @*Methods@#An expert counsel was conducted to assess the risk of coronavirus disease 2019 ( COVID-19 ) , enteritis due to norovirus, chicken pox and influenza by professionals in Zhejiang CDC, based on the information from infectious disease and public health emergency surveillance in Zhejiang Province, domestic health administrative departments, World Health Organization, and European CDC. @*Results@#In March 2021, the risk of imported COVID-19 epidemic will be high in Zhejiang Province, and the possibility of local spread could not be ruled out. The possibility of a large-scale outbreak of enteritis due to norovirus and a small-scale outbreak of chickenpox in schools and kindergartens could not be ruled out after the new term begins. An increased risk of influenza epidemic is predicted in collective units such as schools and kindergartens, yet the risk of a large-scale one will be low.@*Conclusion@#High attention should be paid to COVID-19 and enteritis due to norovirus, and general attention should be paid to chicken pox and influenza outbreak.

ABSTRACT

Objective:To explore the quality transmitting relationship between decoction pieces and substance benchmarks with the fingerprint, index component content and dry extract rate as evaluation indexes, and investigate the key quality attributes of 15 batches of substance benchmarks of Yihuangtang, and establish the quality standard of this substance benchmarks. Method:Fifteen batches of Yihuangtang substance benchmarks freeze-dried powder samples were prepared, the fingerprint and index component content of 15 batches of decoction pieces and substance benchmarks were determined by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), the mobile phase was acetonitrile (A)-0.1% phosphoric acid aqueous solution (B) for gradient elution (0-6 min, 97%B; 6-12 min, 97%-92%B; 12-25 min, 92%-90%B; 25-35 min, 90%-89%B; 35-50 min, 89%-82%B; 50-75 min, 82%-72%B; 75-85 min, 72%-35%B), the detection wavelength was set at 230 nm, combined the dry extract rate to clarify the attribution of characteristic peaks and the range of similarity with the control chromatogram, the content range and transfer rate range of geniposidic acid and berberine hydrochloride, the dry extract rate range and the variation range of the substance benchmarks. Result:The established HPLC fingerprint had good precision, repeatability and stability, and could be used for the simultaneous determination of decoction pieces and substance benchmarks of Yihuangtang. The similarities between the control chromatogram and fingerprint of substance benchmarks were >0.99. A total of 15 characteristic peaks were assigned, and 8 characteristic peaks were identified by the reference substances, of which 6 were from Phellodendri Chinensis Cortex processed with salt, 1 was from Plantaginis Semen processed with wine, and 1 was from stir-fried Dioscoreae Rhizoma. The content ranges of geniposidic acid and berberine hydrochloride in 15 batches of substance benchmarks of Yihuangtang were 0.10%-0.16% and 0.63%-1.05%, the transfer rate ranges of them were 20.91%-32.65% and 19.60%-29.59%, respectively. The dry extract rate range of the substance benchmarks was 8.45%-9.92%. Conclusion:The quality standard of Yihuangtang substance benchmarks can be preliminarily formulated by the combination of fingerprint, dry extract rate and determination of index component, which can provide the basis for the quality control of Yihuangtang and the development of related preparations.

ABSTRACT

@#<p>Primary amenorrhea is a symptom caused by different rare pathologic conditions. It is commonly seen during adolescence due to the absence of menses during this period. Presented here is a rare case of primary amenorrhea in an 18 year old girl with delayed pubertal growth and short stature which on series of investigations revealed hypergonadotropic hypogonadism, absence of the uterus and non-visualized bilateral ovaries on MRI. Karyotyping showed 45,X0. The coexistence of MRKH and gonadal dysgenesis was considered in this case and has been reported in only a few studies up to this date. Its association is uncommon, hence, a multidisciplinary approach is warranted for the management of her case. Further implications on menses and future fertility options are the main considerations, affecting the quality of life.</p>

ABSTRACT

Tumor immune therapy has been remarkably successful in recent years and several kinds of PD-1/PD-L1 (programmed death-1/programmed death-ligand 1) antibody drugs have been approved by the FDA for treatment of advanced malignant neoplasms. However, as biomacromolecules these antibody drugs have certain drawbacks such as high cost, injection-only administration and immunogenicity; thus, we turned to small molecules that have lower immune risks and better modifiability. Considering the structural diversity of natural products, we chose to investigate the active components in Panax ginseng, a famous and highly valued traditional Chinese medicine. Nine compounds were separated and identified in this research using a HPLC-coupled MS system, and 3 PD-1 binding compounds were identified using the SPR method. The PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitory ability of ginsenoside Rg1, as a representative ginsenoside, was verified by cytopharmacological methods. This research provides a new method for the identification of immune blockade inhibitors in natural products.

ABSTRACT

Serum samples were tested for IgG antibodies using indirect immunofluorescence assays. We then analyzed associated risk factors. Serum samples were considered positive when reactive at a dilution of more than 1:320. Differences between groups and risk factors associated with exposure were statistically analyzed using Chi-square tests and the generalized linear model. 122 of 1,260 samples (9.68%) were positive for infection. The infection rate ranged from 0% to 30.43% and differed significantly among age groups ( < 0.01); infection rate in the 50-59 years group was significantly higher than that in other age groups. The seroprevalence of varied significantly among sites within the four provinces, and the infection rate of field workers was significantly higher than that of urban workers.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effectiveness and safety of laparoscopic CY Liu non-mesh pelvic floor repair surgery in treatment of pelvic organ prolapse(POP).METHODS: From February 2016 to September 2017,a total of 83 patients with POP were treated in Zhejiang Province People's Hospital,and they were included in this retrospective study.The clinical data were retrospectively analyzed;the POP-Q scores were used as the objective evaluation indicators for POP.Analyze the changes of POP-Q indicator points after surgery,and observe surgery related data and complications.Evaluate the postoperative symptom improvement and subjective satisfaction rate of the patients using pelvic floor impact questionnaire short form(PFIQ-7).RESULTS: All surgeries of the included 83 patients were successfully finished laparoscopically.The average follow-up time was(18.88±3.82)months,but there were 8 cases of loss of follow-up.During the follow-up,the total anatomical success rate of laparoscopic CY Liu non-mesh pelvic floor repair surgery was 97.33%(73/75).The differences in POP-Q scores and PFIQ-7 scores were statistically significant before and after the surgery(P<0.05).Subjective satisfaction rate was 96.00%(72/75)after surgery.CONCLUSION: Laparoscopic CY Liu non-mesh pelvic floor repair surgery is effective in the management of Ⅱ-Ⅳ pelvic organ prolapse.There's no need for mesh,and the recurrence rate is low in short-term follow-up,which is worth paying attention to.

ABSTRACT

To establish a determination method for the contents of ammonium glycyrrhetate,nardosinone,and curcumin in transdermal receptor liquid of Baimai Ointment,and investigate the percutaneous permeability of Baimai Ointment and the effects of two kinds of penetration enhancers on percutaneous absorption of three components. The contents of ammonium glycyrrhetate,nardosinone,and curcumin in transdermal receptor liquid were determined by high pressure liquid chromatography( HPLC). The vertical modified Franz diffusion cell was used to perform a transdermal experiment in vitro with the abdominal skin of mice( treated and untreated). The transdermal receptor liquid was preferably used to investigate the transdermal absorption rule of the Baimai Ointment and the effect of the penetration enhancer. The results showed that the comprehensive solubility of PEG-ET-NS( 3 ∶3 ∶4) was best among three types of receptor liquid PG-ET-NS( 3 ∶3 ∶4),PEG-ET-NS( 3 ∶3 ∶4),ET-NS( 3 ∶7). PEG-ET-NS was used as the receptor liquid for in vitro transdermal experiments. The cumulative permeation area of ammonium glycyrrhetate,nardosinone and curcumin within 24 h was 5. 73,18. 99,0. 38 μg·cm~(-2)respectively. Taking QEFand ER as comprehensive evaluation indicators of permeation performance,the comprehensive penetration-promoting performance of ammonium glycyrrhizinate: 3% PEG 400-ethanol-normal saline ≈ 1. 19 times( 3%azone) = 1. 94 times( blank); comprehensive penetration-promoting performance of nardosinone: 3% PEG 400-ethanol-normal saline≈1. 28 times( 3% azone) = 1. 37 times( blank); the comprehensive penetration performance of curcumin: 3% PEG 400-ethanol-normal saline≈1. 77 times( 3% azone) ≈3. 42 times( blank). The comprehensive penetration enhancement properties of the two penetration enhancers were as follows: 3% PEG 400-ethanol-normal saline>3%azone>blank. The transdermal absorption curve of ammonium glycyrrhetate,nardosinone and curcumin in Baimai Ointment were consistent with the zero-order equation,indicating that the transdermal absorption process was irrelevant to the concentration of three components,and its was a diffusion process. This experiment provides reference for the study of ointment transdermal preparations.

ABSTRACT

Objective: To establish a method for determining the content of total polysaccharides in decoction pieces of Polyporus,analyze the content of total polysaccharides in samples with different sources and grades. Method: The relative molecular weight and the polydispersity index of polysaccharides in decoction pieces of Polyporus were measured by a high performance gel chromatography coupled with a multi-angle laser light scattering and refractive index system.Dextran with similar molecular weight as polysaccharides was selected as the reference substance.Orthogonal experiment and single factor tests were used to optimize the pretreatment conditions for the determination of total polysaccharides in Polyporus.Polysaccharides in Polyporus with different areas and grades were determined by anthrone-sulfuric acid colorimetric method at 630 nm. Result: The linearity,stability,precision,repeatability and recovery rate of the established method all reached the standards,respectively.The content of total polysaccharides in samples from different areas ranged from 0.87% to 1.39%.The content of total polysaccharides in samples with different grades was 1.40% for first-grade pieces,1.21% for second-grade pieces, and 1.03% for third-grade pieces. Conclusion: The established method is simple,accurate and reproducible,and it can be used for the determination of polysaccharides in decoction pieces of Polyporus.The content of polysaccharides in samples from different origins varies greatly.The content of polysaccharides in samples with different grades shows a certain regularity.The content of polysaccharides is the highest in the first-grade pieces,followed by the content in the second-grade,and the lowest in the third-grade.The results can provide a reference for formulating limits for the content of total polysaccharides and the grade standard of decoction pieces of Polyporus.

This paper compared and analyzed the relevant records of Chinese medicine pharmacy in the Han,Tang and Song dynasties,and summarized the changes of the dosage forms,preparation techniques and administration methods of Chinese medicine with the development of history.In this study,three classic medical works in the Han,Tang and Song dynasties,including Treatise on Febrile Diseases Caused by Cold,Valuable Prescriptions for Emergency and Formularies of the Bureau of People's Welfare Pharmacies,were taken as the research objects,and the development of the dosage forms,auxiliary materials,preparation technology and medication theory were summarized and explored by the ways of content analysis,comparative analysis and case analysis.The comparison showed that in the development process,the dosage forms gradually increased,but the liquid dosage forms gradually decreased,the solid dosage forms gradually increased.Not only the dosage forms varied in the number,types of excipients used more and more,but the level of preparation had been constantly improved while the methods of taking became more detailed.This evolution of dosage forms and pharmaceutical technologies in Chinese history is worth learning and thinking about it.Through exploring the traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) technologies and theories in the Han,Tang and Song dynasties,we can contribute to the inheritance of traditional preparations and it can provide the basis for the development of modern preparations with TCM characteristics.

@# Objective To understand the epidemiological characteristics of scrub typhus in Anhui Province from 2008 to 2017, so as to provide scientific evidence for the development of control strategies and control measures. Methods Descriptive epidemiological methods were used to describe and analyze the cases of scrub typhus in Anhui Province from 2008 to 2017. Results The overall incidence of scrub typhus in Anhui Province showed an upward trend from 2008 to 2017 ( χ2=3 522.49, P<0.001). The highest incidence rate in 2016 was 3.98/100 000. The cases were concentrated from September to November. It was a typical “autumn and winter type” and peaked in October. It had the phenomenon of “high incidence in October”; the cases were mainly concentrated in the age group of 40-79 years old, accounting for 76.64% of the total reported cases. The cumulative number of cases in the 60-69 age group was the largest, and the incidence was mainly farmers. Conclusions In recent years, the incidence of scrub typhus in Anhui Province has shown an upward trend. It is necessary to strengthen the routine monitoring of scrub typhus in key areas and the detection of scrub typhus pathogens, and actively carry out prevention and health education of scrub typhus.

Dry granulation technology is a great innovation in granulation technology,which saves many intermediate links and reduces many intermediate costs. It is closely related to the characteristics of materials,dry granulation equipment and process. Dry granulation technology is a systematic engineering science covering many technical fields. The process of dry granulation involves complex mathematical model mechanisms of temperature field,pressure field and velocity field,closely related to the characteristics of materials and drying equipment. However,due to the late start of research on dry granulation technology of traditional Chinese medicine,basic research is still weak. The research on dry granulation technology has achieved great results in the fields of food,chemical industry,agriculture and forestry,showing great reference significance. The advantage of dry granulation of traditional Chinese medicine is that it can be directly granulated by adding an appropriate amount of auxiliary materials in the extract powder of traditional Chinese medicine,without the need of wetting,mixing,drying and other processes. The process is simple and can effectively guarantee the quality of traditional Chinese medicine. The granules obtained by the dry granulation technique are important intermediates for preparing the solid preparations of traditional Chinese medicines,which would directly affect the subsequent molding process and the quality of the preparation products. Therefore,based on the characteristics of dry granulation method in traditional Chinese medicine and by referring to the advanced research results of dry granulation technology in other fields,we would discuss the research ideas of dry granulation in traditional Chinese medicine in terms of the mechanism of dry granulation equipment,technology,on-line detection technology and mathematical model of dry granulation process,hoping to provide reference for the research of dry granulation method in traditional Chinese medicine.

Objective: To determine the anti-proliferative activity of Abrus precatorius (A. precatorius) leaf extracts and their effect on cell death. Methods: A. precatorius leaves were extracted successively with hexane, ethyl acetate and methanol by Soxhlet extraction. Aqueous extract was prepared by decoction at 50 C. Extracts of A. precatorius leaves were used to treat selected cancer and normal cell lines for 72 h. It has been recognized that patients with hypothyroidism have higher risks of atherosclerosis and coronary heart disease, however, the mechanisms are largely unknown. Considering that macrophage dysfunction plays an important role in the formation and development of atherosclerosis plaques, this study aimed to investigate the direct effects of thyroid hormone on macrophage functions and to provide new insight for the mechanism of hypothyroid atherosclerosis. RAW264.7 cells (mouse leukaemic monocyte macrophage cell line) were incubated with oxidized low-density lipoprotein (oxLDL) to establish macrophage foam cells model in vitro, and the protective effects of different concentration of thyroxine (T4) on the macrophage foam cells function were explored. The proliferation, migration and cell aging of macrophages were detected by MTT method, scratch test and β-galactosidase staining respectively. The ELISA method was used to detect the secretion of tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), monocyte chemoattractant protein-1 (MCP-1), and interleukin-1β (IL-1β). Western blot analysis was applied to measure the phosphorylation of focal adhesion kinase (FAK), which was required for the process of proliferation and migration of macrophages. The results showed that oxLDL significantly inhibited the macrophage proliferation and migration, induced cell senescence, and promoted the secretion of TNF-α, MCP-1, and IL-1β; while T4 reversed those effects of oxLDL on macrophage in a concentration-dependent manner. Moreover, oxLDL increased the phosphorylation of FAK in macrophage, while T4 concentration-dependently reversed the effect. These results suggest that T4 modulates macrophage proliferation, migration, senescence, and secretion of inflammation factors in a concentration-dependent way.

ABSTRACT

<p><b>BACKGROUND</b>Sepsis is a major cause of mortality in Intensive Care Units. Anesthetic dose isoflurane and 100% oxygen were proved to be beneficial in sepsis; however, their application in septic patients is limited because long-term hyperoxia may induce oxygen toxicity and anesthetic dose isoflurane has potential adverse consequences. This study was scheduled to find the optimal combination of isoflurane and oxygen in protecting experimental sepsis and its mechanisms.</p><p><b>METHODS</b>The effects of combined therapy with isoflurane and oxygen on lung injury and sepsis were determined in animal models of sepsis induced by cecal ligation and puncture (CLP) or intraperitoneal injection of lipopolysaccharide (LPS) or zymosan. Mouse RAW264.7 cells or human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) were treated by LPS to probe mechanisms. The nuclear factor kappa B (NF-κB) signaling molecules were examined by Western blot and cellular immunohistochemistry.</p><p><b>RESULTS</b>The 0.5 minimum alveolar concentration (MAC) isoflurane in 60% oxygen was the best combination of oxygen and isoflurane for reducing mortality in experimental sepsis induced by CLP, intraperitoneal injection of LPS, or zymosan. The 0.5 MAC isoflurane in 60% oxygen inhibited proinflammatory cytokines in peritoneal lavage fluids (tumor necrosis factor-alpha [TNF-β]: 149.3 vs. 229.7 pg/ml, interleukin [IL]-1β: 12.5 vs. 20.6 pg/ml, IL-6: 86.1 vs. 116.1 pg/ml, and high-mobility group protein 1 [HMGB1]: 323.7 vs. 449.3 ng/ml; all P< 0.05) and serum (TNF-β: 302.7 vs. 450.7 pg/ml, IL-1β: 51.7 vs. 96.7 pg/ml, IL-6: 390.4 vs. 722.5 pg/ml, and HMGB1: 592.2 vs. 985.4 ng/ml; all P< 0.05) in septic animals. In vitro experiments showed that the 0.5 MAC isoflurane in 60% oxygen reduced inflammatory responses in mouse RAW264.7 cells, after LPS stimulation (all P< 0.05). Suppressed activation of NF-κB pathway was also observed in mouse RAW264.7 macrophages and human PBMCs after LPS stimulation or plasma from septic patients. The 0.5 MAC isoflurane in 60% oxygen also prevented the increases of phospho-IKKβ/β, phospho-IκBβ, and phospho-p65 expressions in RAW264.7 macrophages after LPS stimulation (all P< 0.05).</p><p><b>CONCLUSION</b>Combined administration of a sedative dose of isoflurane with 60% oxygen improves survival of septic animals through reducing inflammatory responses.</p>

ABSTRACT

Resveratrol, an anti-inflammatory agent, can inhibit pro-inflammatory mediators by activating Sirt1, which is a class III histone deacetylase. However, whether resveratrol can regulate inhibitory or anti-inflammatory molecules has been less studied. FcγRIIB, a receptor for IgG, is an essential inhibitory receptor of B cells for blocking B-cell receptor-mediated activation and for directly inducing apoptosis of B cells. Because mice deficient in either Sirt1 or FcγRIIB develop lupus-like diseases, we investigated whether resveratrol can alleviate lupus through FcγRIIB. We found that resveratrol enhanced the expression of FcγRIIB in B cells, resulting in a marked depletion of plasma cells in the spleen and notably in the bone marrow, thereby decreasing serum autoantibody titers in MRL/lpr mice. The upregulation of FcγRIIB by resveratrol involved an increase of Sirt1 protein and deacetylation of p65 NF-κB (K310). Moreover, increased binding of phosphor-p65 NF-κB (S536) but decreased association of acetylated p65 NF-κB (K310) and phosphor-p65 NF-κB (S468) to the −480 promoter region of Fcgr2b gene was responsible for the resveratrol-mediated enhancement of FcγRIIB gene transcription. Consequently, B cells, especially plasma cells, were considerably reduced in MRL/lpr mice, leading to improvement of nephritis and prolonged survival. Taken together, we provide evidence that pharmacological upregulation of FcγRIIB expression in B cells via resveratrol can selectively reduce B cells, decrease serum autoantibodies and ameliorate lupus nephritis. Our findings lead us to propose FcγRIIB as a new target for therapeutic exploitation, particularly for lupus patients whose FcγRIIB expression levels in B cells are downregulated.

ABSTRACT

@#AIM:To evaluate if early ethambutol toxicity can be detected by comparing pre-and post-treatment anatomical and visual function using retinal nerve fiber thickness,pattern visual evoked potentials and conventional optic nerve function tests.METHODS:This was a prospective study involving 72 eyes of 36 patients treated with ethambutol according to directly observed treatment short-course(DOTS) strategy in Hospital Universiti Sains Malaysia,Kelantan,Malaysia.The visual acuity and optic nerve function tests were performed by a single investigator.Likewise,Humphrey automated perimetry,optical coherence tomography (OCT) measurement of the retinal nerve fibre layer (RNFL) and pattern visual evoked potential (PVEP) were performed by a single technician.The examinations were performed before initiating ethambutol treatment and 3mo after that.RESULTS:There was no change in visual acuity,colour vision,light brightness,red saturation and fundus findings pre and post ethambutol.However,there was a statistically significant deterioration in the mean deviation of the visual field post treatment (P=0.010).There were also significant changes on OCT and PVEP,with increased RNFL thickness in all quadrants (P< 0.05) and PVEP delayed P100 peak latency and amplitude (P<0.001).CONCLUSION:Ethambutol toxicity is a known complication of tuberculosis treatment.Early detection of this toxicity may prevent severe irreversible visual loss.The use of OCT to detect RNFL thickness and PVEP to assess P100 latency and amplitude can assist in the detection of subclinical anatomical and visual function changes prior to development of abnormalities on conventional optic nerve function tests.

ABSTRACT

Objective:To study the optimal nutritional support strategy in critical patients with acute ischemic stroke.Methods:50 critical patients with acute ischemic stroke were divided into two groups.One group were started with enteral nutrition alone within 24h after admission,while the other group received sequential parenteral and enteral nutrition.The incidence of pulmonary infection,gastric retention,upper gastrointestinal bleeding,hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia were compared between the two groups.Another endpoint was discharge from ICU at day 20,and it was compared between the two groups using Kaplan-Meier methods.Results:There was no difference between the two groups in the rate of hypoglycemia or hyperglycemia (P > 0.05).The incidences of pulmonary infection,gastric retention,upper gastrointestinal bleeding and diarrhea were lower in the PN+EN group than EN group (P < 0.01).The length of ICU stay was also shorter in the PN+EN group.Conclusion:The strategy of sequential parenteral and enteral nutrition decreased the complication rate related to nutrition support,such as pulmonary infection,gastric retention,upper gastrointestinal bleeding.Also,it shortened the ICU stay in critical patients with acute ischemic stroke.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the effect of small dosage of methylprednisolone in treatment of sepsis and the influence on immtme cells.Methods Totally 72 patients diagnosed with sepsis in Liqun Hospital from October 2014 to October 2016 were selected in this research.They were randomly divided into two groups:36 patients in control group received conventional anti-infective treatment,and 36 patients in observation group were treated with small dosage of methylprednisolone on the basis of control group.The efficacy and level of immune cells were compared in two groups.Results The survival rate in observation group was significantly higher than that of control group (P < 0.05).The difference of the incidence of complications and the level of immune cells before treatment between two groups had not statistical significance.CD4+ T lymphocytes and CD8+ T lymphocytes in observation group were significantly higher than those of control group after treatment,whereas the ratio ofCD4+/CD8+ and levels of CRP,TNF-α,PCT and IL-1 were lower than those of control group (P < 0.05).Conclusion There is a significant effect of small dosage of methylprednisolone in treatment of sepsis,which can regulate apoptosis of T lymphocyte and inflammatory factor,reduce the immune response,improve the survival rate,and recommend the clinical popularization and application.

ABSTRACT

Objective To develop a new mPCR method for rapid diagnosis of six types of encephalitis causing viruses of HS-VI,HSVII,VZV,EBV,EV71 and CMV.Methods Six pairs of specific primers for CMV,EV71,HSV I,VZV,EBV and HSV II were designed.The mPCR detection method was established and the sensitivity was detected.In order to verify the clinical application value of their multiplex PCR system,fifteen cerebrospinal fluid specimens of clinically suspected VE from the First Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University from 2014 to 2015 were examined by the mPCR method.Results The 6 pairs of primers did not interfere with each other,and the sensitivity of the mPCR system was over 103copies/μl.Among 15 cerebrospinal fluid specimens from patients with suspected viral encephalitis,six specimens(6/15,40%)were tested positive by the mPCR.Among them,HSV I was 5 and CMV was 1.Conclusion The mPCR method for detecting six types of en-cephalitis-associated virus at same time was established with high specificity,sensitivity and stability.
